Rights group, The Centre for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) has joined the international community to commemorate International Women’s Day.
VCCD Executive Director, David Anyaele says there are growing concerns about the situation of Nigerian women with disabilities.
The group has therefore called on the senate to support Physically-challenged Nigerian women by accelerating all legislative processes on the Nigeria disability bill.
CCD also calls on other State Governments in the country that are yet to pass disability laws to do so.

More than 10 million Nigerian women are living with different forms of disabilities.
