Lagos state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode says he won’t stop at making Lagos a true mega city. He stated this when he inaugurated two big projects and visited the Lekki Free Trade Zone to assess the work done so far.
Kareemat Salami was part of the tour on Friday reports that it was celebration for many pedestrian around Ojota who had longed for a second bridge in that axis.
He said the construction of the second Ojota pedestrian bridge was in response to the people’s demand.
The Governor also inaugurated newly constructed TBS bus terminus, where stated bus park is one of many good things to come to Lagos Island.
The governor disclosed that the state has taken possession of former federal state house.
The train also berthed at Lekki Free Trade Zone.
Here the governor reiterated his commitment to ensuring that the project is actualized and ready to make
the Eastern axis of Lagos, the economic hub of the state.
Governor Ambode said more than $6 billion has been invested in the zone in the last few years with Dangote’s share in the lump sum at $4 billion and added the huge investment’s in the overall interest of Lagosians.
