Leaders of the two factions of the people’s Democratic Party have signed a pact and agreed to sheath their swords as part of efforts to find a lasting solution to the crisis rocking the party.
This comes after members of the factions held talks with the reconciliation committee headed by Seriake Dickson governor of Bayelsa State.
They have agreed not to make inflammatory statements capable of undermining the peace process.
The reconciliation committee also met with Board of Trustees Members to brief them on the progress made so far in resolving the crisis.
