The Baton of the Queen of England for next year’s Commonwealth Games holding in the Gold Coast, Australia is scheduled to arrive Nigeria on the 1st of next month.
The Queen’s Baton Relay is a ritual tour of all the 70 member states of the Commonwealth who are expected at the Games in 2018.
The Baton which carries Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the second’s goodwill message to member nations, will enter Nigeria after a four day tour of next door neighbours, Cameroon and leave on the 5th of April.
Queen Elizabeth launched the Baton relay on Monday at Buckingham Palace.
The Baton began it’s journey on Wednesday in Freetown, Sierra leone.
It will land in Ghana before reaching Rwanda and then Uganda.
