The Senate has unanimously confirmed Walter Onnoghen as Chief Justice of Nigeria.
Justice Onnoghen who was screened on Wednesday, March the 1st was accompanied to the Senate chambers by Cross River state Governor, Ben Ayade.
Onnoghen had been appointed in acting capacity Thursday, November 10, by President Muhammadu Buhari, following the retirement of Justice Mahmud Mohammed.
