His Eminence, The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji salad Abubakar III has called on the Federal Government to relax certain harsh economic policies that has make life difficult for ordinary Nigerians.
He made this call when the Acting President Professor Yemi Osinbajo visited his palace in Sokoto.
The Royal father specifically frown against the plan of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) to forcefully enforce the collection of Customs duty on vehicles across the country.
Responding, the Acting President describe the royal father as a stabilising agents in the efforts of peace restoration in the nation.
He says Sokoto state is key to the achievement of the present administration economic transformation programme.
