Nigeria will not participate in the 2017 International Table Tennis Federation African Junior Championships in Tunisia.
This is because of the paucity of funds on the part of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation.
Ten players,were billed to compete at the competition which runs from April 9 to April 15.
The players have been in a closed camp organised by the NTTF for over a week in Lagos.

But Nigeria’s absence from the competition may have cost two of the country’s representatives fighting for slots to participate in the 2018 Youth Olympic Games.
