Some senior media practitioners and other assertions in Osun state at a workshop organised for some
students of Mass Communication in Osogbo have said, Nigerian journalists and other media practitioners must speak with one voice on the issues that bother on ethics the profession so as to put it in proper perspective.

The workshop is to prepared the students for the various challenges in the field. It focused on the dynamics and challenges of correspondents on beats; redefining media entrepreneurship; the place of gender in the media world as well as developmental reportage and its Challenges. It was suggested that media men are supposed to be the owner in the industry in the public interest and for professionalism to be the order of the day. Participants at the workshop were tasked on their education and empowerment to enable them make their mark in the profession.
