Hannover striker Noah Bazee is set to miss Super Eagles 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in June.
The 20-year-old is suffering from a knee problem and may need surgery to rectify the injury.
The news is a major disappointment to Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr, who called the player up for the Super Eagles in the last international window in March.
Bazee has not played for Hannover since a 23-minute showing against St Pauli on March 18th.
