The Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria believe if manufacturers comply with standards in production, it will increase the export potential and value of their goods as well as boost the country’s economy.
The professional body says Public analysts can play a lead role in pulling Nigeria out of recession, adding that the present economic recession is also the concern of the institute.
Already the Federal government is looking beyond crude oil to grow the country’s economy.
Public Analysts believe if the local economy must grow, the service of public analysts should be in high demand especially among manufacturers.
The institute of public analysts on Nigeria also called for federal government by providing bail out that will enable their members afford laboratory equipment that would help check standards of locally produced goods and ensure they are acceptable in the international market.
