TVC N. The planned relocation of Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC, from Rivers state, South South Nigeria over security reasons is now a subject of investigation in the House of Representatives.
At the formal inauguration of the ad hoc committee to probe the planned movement of the company, the Speaker of the House of Representatives said the lower chamber has a duty to dig into the causes of the proposed relocation and ensure justice is served. Yakubu Dogara who was represented by the Deputy Chief Whip, Pally Iriase, urged the Committee and stakeholders to work towards guaranteeing justice for all concerned and the country as a whole.
