Nigeria’s defense authorities say apart from a month-long jungle search for killer herdsmen in Southern Kaduna, several other approaches are in use to bring lasting peace to the trouble region.
The defense chief made the revelation in Kaduna, the state capital on Tuesday.
He was at the Air force base, along side the Chief of Air staff to commission projects at the Air force institute of technology.
General Olonishakin said already, efforts of the security agencies are yielding positive results.
He pledged continuous support for the troops, and all those involved in the quest for peace in Kaduna state.
For the Chief of Air staff, officers and men of the air force would never be slack at contributing their quota to the peace process.
