The Nigerian Air force says it has stopped an attempt by Boko Haram fighters to regroup in Sambisa forest.
A video released by the Nigerian Air force shows the aftermath of the attack on a location, three kilometres northeast of Mangosum.
Air Force spokesman Olatokunbo Adesanya in a statement explained that an Alpha Jet and an F-7 fighter jet, were deployed to attack the gathering insurgents, killing several of their leaders.
