Former Nigeria athletics star Enefiok Udo-Obong has declared his interest to run for the presidency of the Athletic Federation of Nigeria, AFN.
The elections will hold on June the 13th.
Udobong was in Nigeria’s 2000 Sydney Olympics 4×400 relay team that finished second but were later awarded gold after USA were stripped of the prize.
Udobong believes he has the expertise and experience needed in the sport.
Meanwhile, Former Nigeria queen of the tracks, Mary Onyali-Omagbemi, has also declared her interest to run for the Vice Presidency of the AFN.
