The Libyan government has arrested a brother and the father of Salman Abedi, the man suspected of carrying out the Manchester attack.
Police accuse Hashem, Salman Abedi’s younger brother, of knowledge of the plan to attack Manchester and that the two brothers were both members of the Islamic State group.
Salman is reported to have travelled to Manchester from Libya, four days before Monday’s bombing.
But their father Ramadan Abedi says he doesn’t believe stories linking his son to the attack, saying he was sure that Salman had not been a member of Islamic State, or any other organization.
