The League Management Company (LMC) has postponed the resumption date of the second stanza of the Nigeria Professional Football League to Sunday, May the 21st.
The league was initially scheduled to resume on May the 7th.
The reason for the change is to clear a backlog of outstanding fixtures.
The LMC says the resumption date was also adjusted to allow the State FAs to conduct Federation Cup finals and play the outstanding First Round matches.
Plateau United still top the league table with 35 points from 18 matches.
