MFM FC coach Fidelis Ilechukwu is confident his team will cope well without Stephen Odey and Sikiru Olatunbosun in this weekend’s week 21 clash away at Niger Tornadoes in the Nigeria Professional Football league.
The MFM players are in the Super Eagles’ squad for the friendly matches against Corsica and Togo.
MFM are second in the NPFL table with 34 points from 20 games while Tornadoes are 8th with 30 points.
Top scorer Odey and Olatunbosun will also miss MFM’s games against FC IfeanyiUbah on June 4th and Lobi Stars 3 days later.
They might also miss the home game against Shooting Stars on June 11th if they are picked for the AFCON qualifier against South Africa on June 10th.
Other games will see Lobi Stars welcome bottom-placed Shooting Stars.
FC IfeanyiUbah take on Kano Pillars. Rivers United are away at 3rd placed Elkanemi Warriors.
Nasarawa United host Wikki Tourists. Struggling champions Rangers are on the road to Abia Warriors.
Leaders Plateau United can not afford any slip up at home to Remo Stars while Sunshine Stars host 5th placed Enyimba.
