The Labour Party in Ogun state has called on both chambers of the National Assembly to investigate claims of refund on Federal roads constructed by Ogun state government.
The party wants the Senate and House of Representatives to send their committees on works to Ogun State for on the spot assessment before any refund is made to the state government.
While addressing journalists in Abeokuta, the party’s state Chairman, Arabambi Abayomi says some of the roads claimed by Governor Ibikunle Amosun to have been completed were never constructed or rehabilitated, while some are still under construction.
They also threatened to institute a legal action on the matter if the National Assembly fails to carry out proper investigation before the money is being disbursed.
