Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has commended Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for his interactive visits to the Oil producing communities in the Niger Delta , which he says have brought peace to that part of Nigeria.
Okowa disclosed this to State House Correspondents after a closed door meeting with the Vice President.
The Delta governor also expressed delight over senate’s passage of the bill establishing the Maritime University, Okorinkoko Delta State.
On the modular refineries he expressed hope that the refineries would be built
as planned in the creeks and in other communities in the Niger Delta.
