Acting President Professor Yemi Osinbajo presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.
Our State House Correspondent reports that the meeting commenced at about 10am in the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Osinbajo is chairing the meeting due to the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari, who travelled to London on Sunday for an indefinite medical follow-up.
Recall that Osinbajo also presided over the last three FEC meetings due to Buhari’s health challenges.
Buhari’s health has been cause for concern since January when he went to London for a supposed 10-day medical vacation which eventually lasted 49 days.
The president admitted upon his arrival that he had never been so sick in his entire life and would need follow-up treatment soon.
