The Nigerian senate has suspended the passage of the Nigerian Peace Corps Bill by two weeks.
The lawmakers took the decision following allegations of corruption leveled against the organisation.
A conference committee report which was slated for consideration and passage, sharply divided the senators, forcing the leadership to put it on hold.
