The Senate is to investigate the electrocution of about seven persons at a football viewing center in the Atimbo area of Calabar, Cross Rivers State last month.
The move follows a motion by Senator Gershom Bassey representing Cross Rivers South on the need for the Senate to invite the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, and other agencies to shed light on the incident.
