Wife of the Bayelsa State governor, Rachiel Dickson and government officials have urged children to shun violence and concentrate on their academics so as to become good future leaders.
They disclosed at the Children’s Day celebration at government house in Yenagoa.
TVC News Ovieteme George reports that a march past at the Peace Park Ovom-Yenagpa drew the participation of both public and private primary and secondary schools in the state capital.
The educational foundation of the children is the primary concern of the state government.

From the Peace Park to Government House, many children attended a party organised by the wife of the state governor, Rachel Dickson.
