Seven years after his arrest and four years after the sentence, his family and some concerned Nigerians are pleading to the Presidency for clemency.

Four years after his arrest and seven years after he was thrown into Kuje Prison, his family, some concerned Nigerians and the “Free Edmund Ebiware Group” converged on Yenagoa for a peaceful March to draw the attention of the Presidency to the matter.
They argue that if Justice Gabriel Kolawole could thrown a treason charge against an alleged mastermind, then an alleged accessory should be acquitted.
