The All Progressives Congress Panel has cleared the only younger brother of the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, Ademola Adeleke to contest the Osun Senatorial by-election,
The panel, however, disqualified Senator Mudashir Hussein for being a cabinet member in Osun state.
The screening committee in its letter said it disqualified Hussein for being a cabinet member in Osun state contrary to the APC 2014 guidelines which says ” aspirants seeking public office on its platform shall not have remained an employee of the public service within 30 days preceding”.
But Hussein who was sworn in as a Commissioner on May the 30th says he resigned on June the 6th to contest the election.
