A Federal High Court in Abuja, has discharged a Boko Haram suspect, who was arraigned with six others, on terrorism charges in 2013.
Usman Abubakar, who was allegedly involved in the abduction and murder of seven foreigners, was arraigned in 2013, on an 11-count charge.
At the resumed trial on Tuesday, the prosecuting counsel, Shuaibu Labaran, said the court had nothing against the defendant.
Two other defendants have been added by the prosecution on Tuesday, bringing the number of defendants to eight.
Abubakar spent four years in prison.
