The British High Commission in Nigeria has commended Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson’s handling of fiscal accountability in governance.
Its Political Counsellor, Ben Llewelyn Jones stated this after a brief inspection of equipment and facilities at the Bayelsa Medical Diagnostic Centre in Yenagoa, the state capital.
Pocock who later met with Governor Seriake Dickson in Government House is impressed with the state government’s investment in the heath and education sectors, describing it as the key role of government for service delivery to its citizens.
Meanwhile, the new British Deputy High Commissioner in Lagos, Laure Beautifils has expressed her determination to strengthen the existing relationship between her country and Lagos.
