The death toll in the Boko Haram attack on the University of Maiduguri has risen to sixteen.
Danjuma Gambo, a Professor in the Mass Communications Department of the University, who also doubles as the spokesperson of the institution, confirmed the incident.
According to him, three suicide attacks took place in the University on Sunday night.
