An Indonesian firm, PT Intim Perkasa, has indicated interest to build a refinery in Akwa Ibom State,South South Nigeria.
Head of Investor Relations of PTPP Persero, partners to PT Intim Perkasa , Adi Hartadi, disclosed this in Abuja during a business meeting with the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Dr. Maikanti Baru.
The refinery, a modular, will have refining capacity for 10,000 barrels of crude per day.
Hartadi stated that his company has more than 50 years of experience in construction and engineering.

NNPC officials said they placed high premium on investments in the nation’s refining sector.
