The Independent National Electoral Commission has received a petition to recall Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West Senatorial District.
The submission was made at INEC’s Abuja office on Wednesday.
Leader of the delegation who addressed journalists said they have met with the constitutional requirement of 51.1 percent to recall Melaye.
He added that a total of one hundred and eighty eight thousand members signed the recall register constituting 52.3 percent of the voters in the senatorial district.
