Islamic scholar urges FG to scale-up anti-graft war

Image result for Muhydeen BelloA prominent Nigerian Islamic Scholar, Muhydeen Bello has appealed to the Federal Government to intensify efforts on prosecution of any public officer who have been alleged of corrupt practices instead of shielding them.

He made this known in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Ogun State while delivering lecture on the challenges of ‘The People of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow’.

The cleric said he detests unpatriotic attitudes of some political office holders who failed to consolidate on selfless services rendered by the nation’s fore fathers, noting that the country must be rescued from its social economic and political woes.

On his part, the Rector of the institution, Oludele Itiola maintains that all hands must be on deck to solve the country’s problems and urged citizens to ensue indiscipline and moral decadence.
