The Lagos State Government has arraigned Kamorudeen Lamina, believed to be a land grabbing kingpin. Lamina and six others were charged on a six-count charge before a Special Offences Court in Oshodi for allegedly forcefully dispossessing residents of their lands.
He is accused of having being a terror to residents of Ikorodu before his arrest on Thursday.
In one of the counts, Lamina and the others were accused of selling 25 hectares of land to third parties, while in another they are said to have fraudulently sold 60 hectares of land which had been previously sold by the rightful owner.
In his ruling, Magistrate Lateef Owolabi granted bail to the men in the sum of 1 million Naira and two sureties in like sum, while remanding the men at Badagry Prison until they are able to meet the bail conditions.
The case has now been adjourned to July the 13th.
