Ahead of the local government election in Lagos state holding next month, the Ahmed Makarfi faction of the PDP in the state, says it is working at an alliance with the Labour party.
State chairman of the party, Moshood Salvador directed its members to vote for candidates of the Labour party.
The faction of the pdp might have taken this step because the electoral commission says it will recognize the Alli Modu sherrif faction of the pdp following the subsisting court order in its favour.
Meanwhile, a chieftain of the Modu sherriff faction of the PDP in Lagos state, Amos Olayinka describes the purported alliance as a huge joke.
In an interview with TVC NEWS says the faction is about to destroy the chances of the main pdp in in next months election.
He accused the Salvador faction of working against the party.
