The management of the Nigerian Railway Cooperation says that it has put up measures to restore train services on the Mokwa-Jebba Bridge linking the South to the North in Niger State.
Rail services were disrupted along the axis following the bridge’s collapse as a result of a downpour on June 11 which eroded a portion of the railway track.
Giving an update on the development, the Managing Director of the Railway Cooperation, Fidet Okhiria, stated that a ready-made bridge has been fixed in the area as a temporary measure to restore train services pending the reconstruction of the bridge.
