The committee handling grain distribution in the North East has briefed Senators and members of House of representatives on the concept of implementation of the Programme.
The meeting which was a closed door session took place at the Vice president’s wing of the Presidential Villa.
The meeting was set up to address complaints from the North East geopolitical zones about inadequate distribution of grains to victims of the Insurgency
At the end of the meeting Lawmakers from the zone expressed satisfaction at what they had been told, calling for similar meetings from time to time to ensure there was always adequate information on the process.
