South Africa is set to further strengthen business relations with Nigeria, the Premier of Gauteng reaffirmed this position at a business meeting with the arrow heads of Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Correspondent Tolulope Ogunjobi reports that business relations between Nigeria and South Africa has witnessed rapid growth recently with data showing that the volume of trade between both countries now at 1.3 trillion naira that’s more than 4 billion dollars as at 2015.
According to the Premier of Gauteng, the cordial economic and business relationship between both countries have helped reposition Africa on the part of long term development and international economic relations.
For the lagos chamber of commerce and industry, the opportunities for investment and collaboration between the two African giants cannot be ignored.
This partnership will focus on manufacturing, agriculture and agro allied industries, solid minerals, ICT and other areas in the non oil sector.
