MFM FC striker Stephen Odey says his exclusion from the Super Eagles squad for the 2019 AFCON qualifier against South Africa is a springboard for him to improve on his game.
The leading goal scorer in the Nigeria Pro-Football League with 14 goals, Odey is expected to lead the team’s attack along with teammate Sikiru Olatunbosun against FC Ifeanyi Ubah in a match day 22 fixture on Sunday in Lagos.
They both featured in the Super Eagles’ friendlies against Corsica and Togo.
In other matches, leaders Elkanemi Warriors will hope to further extend their lead when they visit Wikki Tourists in Bauchi
Kano Pillars FC play host to Lobi Stars FC, while Niger Tornadoes FC are away to ABS FC of Ilorin.
