Senator Mudashiru Hussein has emerged the candidate of the All progressives Congress while the younger brother of the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke also emerged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the July 8 Osun west senatorial by-election.
Ademola Adeleke defected to the PDP hours to the primary election, where two other aspirants stepped down, making him the party flagbearer.
The two candidates will slug it out with Bade Falade, the candidate of the Makarfi-led PDP, who is contesting on the platform of Social Democratic Party.
The three candidates emerged at separate primaries election held in Ido-Osun Egbedore local government, and Iwo, the senatorial district headquarters.
The candidates of the two major political parties who emerged unopposed expressed confidence in winning the July the 8th Osun West senatorial by-election.
