The Supreme Court on Friday declared as null and void, the election of Herman Hembe into the House of Representatives.
The apex court consequently declared Dorothy Mato the winner of the All Progressives Congress ticket for Vandikwa/Konshisha Federal Constituency of Benue State.
Hembe was elected into the House of Reps in 2015.
In the appeal filed by Dorothy Mato, the Supreme Court set aside the concurrent decisions of the two lower courts and ordered that the appellant be sworn in immediately as a member of House of Representative.

It further ordered that the first respondent (Hembe), also refund to the Federal Government all the salaries he has received as a member of House of Representative.
