Nigeria Football Federation said the Super Eagles will return to training in August ahead of the double header against Cameroon.
The NFF technical committee met with the Sports minister today in an emergency meeting in Abuja.
The meeting borders on the 0-2 loss to South Africa in the 2019 Afcon qualifier.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has said he will not resign his position following the loss to South Africa.
The defeat has elicited criticism of his technical ability, with some analysts saying that he was completely outfoxed by South Africa’s Stuart Baxter.
