Taraba State Police Command has confirmed seven people dead in renewed crisis between Fulani herdsmen and residents of Mambilla in Sardauna local government area.
Property worth millions of naira was destroyed during the attack.
The State commissioner of police, Yakubu Babas has sent additional security personnel to the areas.
He says some community leaders have been arrested in connection with the attack on the Fulani settlement in Nguroje and other villages.

Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Peter Abel Diah, has called for dialogue among residents of the state to end the lingering crisis between Fulani herdsmen and farmers.
Diah, who was reacting to the recent clash between warring groups in Sardauna local government area, described it as unfortunate.
