Nigeria’s acting President Yemi Osinbajo has charged Nordic countries to collaborate with Africa and indeed the rest of the world, in the fight against terrorism.
State House Correspondent Mariah Olasehinde reports that Osinbajo disclosed when he played host to Africa-Nordic Foreign Affairs Ministers at the end of their sixteenth annual meeting which focused on building partnerships and cooperation
Foreign Affairs Minister Geofrey Onyeama discloses that African Countries and their NORDIC counterparts have agreed to improve and develop new initiatives to boost trade and investment between them
Osinbajo on his part condemns rising acts of terrorism and acts of insurgency all over the world, which he says have left utter destruction in countries that have been affected, and cites Maiduguri as a case in point
He thanks his guest for accepting his invitation and does not fail to stress the need for all countries to join in the fight to make the world a safer place.
