The Peoples Democratic Party has called on the Inspector General of Police to launch an investigation into the death of two persons indigenous to Bayelsa as a result of the crisis rocking the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress.
Decrying what it calls the failure of the APC to even tender an apology to the government for breaching the peace, the PDP further advised the opposition party in the state to quickly resolve its leadership crisis to avert a recurrence of violence in the state.
The executive of the Bayelsa chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party is worried over the violent clash of two factions of the All Progressives Congress on Friday, the 18th of August in Yenagoa.
Condemning the violence, the Bayelsa State PDP make a call to the Inspector General Of Police.
The PDP state executive further appreciates Governor Seriake Dickson for the huge investment in security even at a time of economic recession in the country.
