Mexico agrees with U.S. officials to continue ‘serious’ NAFTA talks

Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray made this known, after meeting with U.S. Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson in Washington.

A second round of talks starts on Friday in Mexico City, to renegotiate the 1994 accord, binding the U.S., Mexico and Canada.

This comes after U.S. President Donald Trump had threatened three times in the past week, to abandon the agreement.
