Ogun State government has discharged the Lassa fever victim who has been placed in isolation for the past three weeks after it has been confirmed that two results of his test came out negative.
Speaking about the good news, the Commissioner for Health in the state, Babatunde Ipaye said the state and the management of the federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta puts in their best to rescue the Lassa fever survivor who came in with a limited chance of survival.
He commended the medical official that worked on the patient and assured residents that the state will continue to see to their welfare.
