The unending leadership battle in the Peoples Democratic Party, Ogun State, seems to be defying all odds, despite the dissolution order of the party at last Saturday’s non-elective National Convention.
TVC News Ogun State Correspondent, Kazeem Olowe reports that a group loyal to Senator Buruji Kashamu and supporters of Honourable Ladi Adebutu have continued to lay claim to the party’s leadership and structure in the state.
The groups are ready to run parallel executive committees without considering reconciliation.
The leader of a faction loyal to Senator Buruji Kashamu has threatened to take legal action against the directive of the national leadership of party, to retain power till the year 2020.
Meanwhile, the Adebayo Dayo-led faction has dissociated itself from the stakeholders and Reconciliation meeting held in Ekiti State.
