Ogun State Government has confirmed that 85% of tuberculosis cases in the state are undetected despite the 215 treatment clinics provided for the people.
The State Commissioner for Health, Babatunde Ipaye made this known in Abeokuta while speaking about the innovative programme dubbed Wellness on the Wheel (WOW).
He noted that the vehicle will move round the nook and cranny of the state to take tuberculosis treatment to the people at their footsteps most especially in the rural areas.
On her part, the National Coordinator of TB Leprosy programme said they programme will kick off in two Ogun State followed by Nassarawa state.
