The Nigerian Air Force says it has neutralized almost 300 Boko Haram terrorists in the Garin Maloma area of Sambisa Forest.
In a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Olatokunbo Adesanya, the terrorists were said to have been sighted by a NAF Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance platform.
Some of the terrorists attempted to flee the bombardment but they were killed while some survivors were seen scampering from the location.
Meanwhile, the Airforce has conveyed the Director General of the National Emergency Management Authority, NEMA and other officials to Makurdi.
This followed the Presidential directive to NEMA to assist flood victims in Makurdi, Benue state.
