The wife of Bayelsa State governor, Rachel Dickson has said the Ijaw girl-child can contribute to nation-building, if she devotes her quality time to reading for academic excellence.
She also presented boarding kits to fifty-four students of Saint Jude’s Girls Secondary School, Yenagoa.
Correspondent Ovieteme George reports that the Free Education policy of the Seriake Dickson administration is on course in Bayelsa State as parents and students of Saint Jude’s Girls Secondary School converged on the Diepreye Alamieyeseigha Banquet Hall to receive boarding kits after participating in a selection process.
Emphasizing the pivotal role of education in nation-building, the Bayelsa Governor’s wife Rachel Dickson gives assurance of her commitment to the Ijaw Girl-Child Development in the state.
