Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson, has said democracy thrives when citizens freely engage politicians on their abilities when they get the opportunity to serve.
He made this known at a media chat at government House, Yenagoa.
TVC News Correspondent Ovieteme George reports that the governor who fielded questions from journalists on a wide range of issues, said his administration has created an atmosphere of stability in the state.
In Bayelsa this medical facility is referred to as the 500 – Bed Hospital, but has the capacity to contain 350. It was built by the Diepreye Alamieyeseigha administration and now Governor Dickson wants to complete it.
The Bayelsa governor also expressed a desire to establish one functional health centre in every ward of the eight local government areas.
